Art House Submissions

As a lot of you probably already know - The Art House Co-Op has been doing some really fun free global art projects recently. If you didn't know - you should go check them out. Just this past week I've done two of them...

The Adventure Project: Can you capture an adventure in 30 seconds?

Last Saturday we had a small breakfast party - which was definitely an adventure (our stove even blew up)...but I also shot a little stop motion that afternoon, featuring not only my delightful friends - but also my docile little chicken, Butternut. Art House will be making a channel on YouTube with everyone's adventures.

For the second project:

The 4x6 exchange: A worldwide community art swap

I made a little drawing with pen, sparkly ink, and watercolor pencils. I'm dropping it in the mail today and can't wait to see what I get back!!!
Have a lovely weekend!!! ♥

24 hour stop motion love!

As promised.... ♥ Enjoy!

MONTH: 24 hours with Tiffany Patterson on Vimeo.

Description: In March 2K10 a group of local Spokanite creatives took over the Kolva-Sullivan Gallery (115 S. Adams, Spokane, WA) with continuous 24 hour residencies. It was an art installation/social experiment and a giant party we called 'MONTH'.

This is my day. March 18th 5PM to March 19th 5PM.

Wanna draw on my floor?

This seems like a nice present to find underneath your floor...many many years in the future!

I have to tell you, this was not planned. One minute I am asking Mariko if she wants to drawn on the floor with me, and maybe five minutes later the camera is set up and things are coming alive....like dirt clods and little ghosty bird spermys. This was a nice pre pre test with the stop motion, we actually learned a ton!

Just wait for the next one....

swimming

My MOO microcards have arrived! Hooray for no longer being the blubbering artist trying to describe my work! My handy pink pocket holder and I are ready for anything!...(uh, I better find that).

I have been holding out writing my post about one of my favorite new and upcoming super young artists. (a mouthful sorry!) I am not prepared enough to do so yet. I am considering interviewing him...or at least making him tell me all the nice things he is up to. So....that is coming!

My brain is stuck and no thoughts can change it's mind. Stop Motion. I have a new love - or rather, an old untested love. I cannot even begin to tell you the magnicifent things that are swimming in my head. For the time I need so badly: you are always just out of reach!
